My story

More than 15 years ago,

my husband and I left France  and moved to Melbourne

to continue our careers in fine dining and hospitality.

A few years later, our beautiful baby girl arrived and everything changed.

Becoming parents in a country far from family made us realise

how hard it can be to navigate those early days without the support,

reassurance, and help of loved ones nearby.

Not long after our daughter was born, our family faced another

huge challenge. My husband was seriously injured in a road accident and spent

many months in hospital recovering from multiple surgeries and rehabilitation.

With limited English, I suddenly found myself caring for a newborn mostly

on my own while trying to cope with exhaustion, anxiety, stress, and isolation.

Between the sleepless nights and trying to simply get through each day,

I often felt overwhelmed and alone.

Eventually, after what felt like a very long journey,

my husband recoveredenough to return home.

Our family was finally together again, healthy and hopeful

Feeling incredibly grateful for this second chance, we later welcomed

our second baby into our family.

After my second birth, I realised that everything I had been through

had given me a deeper purpose.

Those difficult experiences helped me understand

just how important support, reassurance,

and compassionate care are for new parents.

Today, my goal is to help families feel seen,

supported, and confident as they navigate life with a new baby.

I want parents to knowthey don’t have to do it all alone

That is why, I chose to train as a Postpartum Doula

What is a postpartum Doula ?

Postpartum doula is essential for families adjusting to life with a new baby.

In today's world, the lack of a supportive "village"

can make the transition overwhelming and isolating.

A doula fills this gap by providing emotional support, practical help, and tailored guidance.

Whether reassuring parents, assisting with newborn care, or simply offering a calming presence,

a doula empowers to feel confident, rested, and truly supported during this special time.

Why you need a doula ?

  • Have someone caring by your side so you can focus on what matters most: your baby

  • Get hands-on support with feeding, newborn care, rest, and recovery

  • Feel free to learn at your own pace, without pressure or judgement

  • Celebrate your body and honour everything it has just done

  • Feel truly supported, reassured, and gently guided as you step into motherhood

What this support can bring you

  • Smoother, more supported recovery

  • Greater confidence in your new role as a parent

  • A deeper bond with your baby

  • More ease and success with feeding

  • Lower risk of feeling overwhelmed or low

  • A calmer, more connected family life

  • Better rest and more balance at home
